Post-surgical care

Post surgical care is an important part of your surgery.  Having surgery can be frightening and the first few days to weeks can be challenging.  You may be in pain, you may have limited ability to move and walk around, need help managing medications, or just need extra support to perform your routine day-to-day activities.  It is essential that you take it easy during your recovery period while your body heals.  This is where First Class comes in to help you manage your physical, mental, and spiritual needs.  We take the guess work out of the recovery process so that you can rest assured that you are being properly cared for. 

Our Post-Surgical Care services are provided in the privacy and comfort of your own surroundings; your home, hotel suite, AirBnB, or other chosen place of recovery. Our goal is to ensure your needs are met and promote a better recovery time for you.  From tummy tucks & breast augmentation, to gallbladder removal or, heart surgery, we cover it all. Our nurses are able to provide the recovery care you need.  We monitor surgical sites, manage drains, administer prescription medications, observe for complications and infection, and we assist with day-to-day activities.

Care Coordination: All post-surgical services include a mandatory face-to-face pre-op consultation with your assigned nurse to help you prepare for your upcoming surgery.  Attendance to your pre-op doctor's visit to ensure care is provided as ordered by your surgeon is required for some procedures. 

Services must be booked at least 30 days in advance for complex procedures.

Includes Basic Tuck-In services plus:

• Light meal prep for client
• Offered as 8hr 1st day of surgery or split over 2 days
• Transportation to/from surgical center (by request)

Includes All Basic and Deluxe Tuck-In services plus:

• 12hr over 2 days, or 12hr day of surgery
• Pampering session- massage therapy (by request), aromatherapy etc.
• Bathing/Showering, grooming, laundry assistance for client
• Follow up appointment scheduling. 
• Transportation to/from surgical center (by request)

Includes All Tuck-In services plus: 

Overnight support for pain management, assistance with toileting and ambulation to ensure safety. 

• 24hr over 3 days (8hr daily) 
• Overnight services- additional fees apply
• 1 week post op nurse visit
• Nurse companion visit to 1st post op appointment
• Telephone RN assistance 24/7 through post op day 7.
• Transportation to/from surgical center (by request)
